Notice is hereby given pursuant to paragraph 8(2) of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 that the Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine The Derbyshire County Council (Upgrading to Bridleway of Public Footpath No.41 – Parish of Cromford) Modification Order 2022 proposes to modify the Order by providing for the following modifications:
1 In Part I of the Order Schedule;
• After ‘walled lane to gate’ add ‘and gap’ • After ‘through gate’ add ‘or squeeze stile’
2. In Part II of the Order Schedule:
• Before ‘Stone Squeeze Stile’ add ‘Field Gate and’ • After ‘Field gate’ add ‘and Gap’
3. On the Order Map:
• Extend the shaded area to point A.
A copy of the Order as submitted and a copy of the Order showing the proposed modification together with the Inspector’s Order decision dated 04 June 2025 have been deposited at Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock Derbyshire, DE4 3AG and may be inspected free of charge during normal working hours.
Any representation or objection with respect to the proposed modification may be sent to Philip Wilton by email: rightsofway2@planninginspectorate.gov. uk quoting reference number ROW/3327437m on all correspondence between 19 March 2026 and 16 April 2026 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Alternatively, this may be sent in writing to The Planning Inspectorate, Rights of Way Section, c/o QUADIENT, 69 Buckingham Avenue, Slough, SL1 4PN. It should be noted that any such representation or objection may be made available for viewing by interested parties at the council offices on request.
