Application for Planning Permission accompanied by an
Environmental Statement

Proposed development at Land East of Warwick Road Drayton, Warwick Road, Banbury (25/02285/REM)

I give notice that on 3 September 2025 Vistry Homes Ltd applied to Cherwell District Council for planning permission for “Application for the approval of reserved matters (layout, scale, appearance and landscaping) pursuant to outline planning permission Ref: 23/00853/OUT (APP/C3105/W/24/3338211) for 170 homes, public open space, landscaping, SuDS, pumping station and all associated ancillary works and Discharge of Conditions 5 (CEMP), 6 (drainage strategy), 8 (Arboricultural Method Statement), 10 (Landscape and Ecological Management Plan), 11 (Habitat Management Plan), 12 (energy strategy) and 16 (intrusive contamination investigation)” and further information has been provided in relation to an environmental statement. The original application was supported by an Environmental Statement. Amended and supplementary documents and plans have now been received that require reconsultation.

The proposal constitutes “major” development. Members of the public may inspect copies of:

and other documents submitted with the application at Cherwell District Council offices, 39 Castle Quay, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 5FD between the hours of 8.45am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday inclusive during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice. Details of the application are available to view through the Council’s website via the Online Planning Service at https://planningregister.cherwell.gov.uk/. Please be advised that details of the application may be amended at any time before a final decision is issued, therefore you are advised to monitor the application’s progress via the Online Planning Service where amended plans will be posted. Should you wish to receive updates, please register online using the “Track an Application” option.

Members of the public may obtain copies of the application and the Environmental Statement by prior appointment from Savills, 55 Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 2AA. There may be a cost involved for obtaining a copy of the environmental statement. Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should do so via the online Planning Register using the above link.
