United Utilities, Gorsehill Water Tower And Service Reservoir Gorsehill Road, New Brighton, Wirral, CH45 9JB.
Repair/restoration and security works to existing Pumping Station building in the curtilage of Gorsehill Water Tower Listed Building. Works include:- Secure free-standing external wall into main building; - Repair internal and external roof structure; - Restore damaged stepped brickwork to rear of building using locally sourced matching brick; - Install new security door within the existing opening; - Carry out full repointing of the building using a lime mortar; - Repair and restore damaged windows and grilles; - Replace existing cast iron rainwater goods to previous extent and specification.

Additional works include internal and external material changes, insertion of new and replacement fenestration and rooflights.

In the event that an appeal is made against a decision of the Council to refuse to grant planning permission for the proposed development, and that appeal then proceeds by way of the expedited procedure under the written representations procedure, any representations made by the owner or tenant to the Council about this application will be passed to the Secretary of State and there will be no opportunity to make further representations. Any owner or tenant wishing to make representations should do so by the date given above.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972
SECTION 123 AS AMENDED BY PARAGRAPH 14 OF PART V OF SCHEDULE 23 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PLANNING AND LAND ACT 1980
TAKE NOTICE that Wirral Borough Council in pursuance of its powers contained in the above mentioned Act intends to lease an area of public open space at Brackenwood Golf Course, Bracken Lane, Bebington CH63 2LY containing approximately one hundred and twelve acres (112 acres).
The plan showing the area of public open space land to be disposed of can be provided by either email on request by emailing enquiriesestatesteam@wirral.gov.uk or by writing to the Assistant Director of Property & Investment, Wirral Borough Council, P.O. Box 290 Brighton Street, Wallasey, Wirral CH27 9FQ in either case quoting reference PL/Legal 24279100.
A copy of this Notice and the plan identifying the public open space land can also be viewed at Bebington Central Library, Civic Way, Bebington CH63 7PN.
Any objections to the proposed disposal of the public open space land must be in writing and sent either by post to the Assistant Director of Property & Investment at the above address quoting reference PL/Legal 24279100 or by email to HRLA-Conveyancing@wirral.gov.uk quoting reference PL/Legal 24279100 by no later than 5:00 pm on 13th March 2026.
