PRE-APPLICATION COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

Proposal: Up to 10 no. turbines (to a maximum blade tip height of 180 metres), electrical substation/control building, internal access tracks, spoil deposition areas, temporary construction compound, delivery route, site access arrangements (provision for 2 site accesses off Tattymoyle Road and Eshmore Road), borrow-pits, junction improvements, internal collector circuit, and all associated ancillary works.

Location: Land located at Tattymoyle, Ramaley Road, Co.Tyrone, approximately 5.5km south-west of Fintona.

How information is obtained concerning the proposed development?

Information on the proposed development is obtained via the following methods:

• Community consultation events held between 4pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 5th November 2024 at The Valley Hotel, No.60 Main Street, Fivemiletown Co.Tyrone and between 4pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday 6th November at the Mellon County Hotel, No.134 Beltany Rd, Omagh Co.Tyrone. Statutory public notices were advertised on 24th October 2004, in the Strabane Chronicle, the Strabane Weekly News, the Impartial Reporter, the Tyrone Constitution and the Ulster Herald.

• Community consultation event held between 4pm and 8pm on Thursday 16th May 2025 at the Dooneen Community Centre, Brockagh, Tempo, BT94 3GW. Public notices were advertised on 8th May 2025, in the Strabane Chronicle, the Strabane Weekly News, the Impartial Reporter, the Tyrone Constitution and the Ulster Herald.

• A project website containing project details and a virtual exhibition room was accessible to the public from 5th November 2024 until 6th December 2024 and used the following address. https://www.sserenewables.com/tattymoyle. Provision was made for members of the public to provide feedback and comment on the proposal.

• Information on the project will be available on the project website between the dates of 12th February and 26th February 2026, and members of the public can provide comment/ feedback on the proposal. How information may be obtained regarding the proposed development and the deadline for providing comment/feedback?

• Members of the public are invited to comment on the proposals by contacting an SSE representative via email – clo@sse.com between 5th November 2024 and 26th February 2026. Comments and feedback must be provided by 26th February 2026.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to the Department for Infrastructure or Fermanagh & Omagh District Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Department for Infrastructure normal neighbourhood notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
