PRE-APPLICATION COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

PROPOSAL: Proposed residential development and all other ancillary works



LOCATION: Lands adjacent to the north of nos. 61 - 75 (odds), 129 - 135 (odds) and 157 - 159 (odds) Broadlands, and adjacent to the south of nos. 2 - 10 (evens) Highgrove Gate, Carrickfergus



EVENT: A pre-application community consultation event will take place on Tuesday 17th February 2026 between 16:00 – 19:00 at Amphitheatre Wellness Centre, Prince William Way, Carrickfergus, BT38 7HP.




WEBSITE: A pre-application community consultation website for the proposal will be live from 17th February 2026 and will remain there until 17th March 2026 inclusive. The website can be viewed at

by scrolling down to ‘Community Consultations’ and selecting ‘Bashford Gate, Carrickfergus’. Comments on the proposed development can be submitted via the Bell Rolston website.

Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to Mid & East Antrim Borough Council. If a formal planning application is submitted to the Council, local advertisement and neighbour notification will take place and there will be an opportunity to make representations to the Council at that time.
