NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
Notice is hereby given that the Council has received the following applications which need to be advertised for the reasons set out below:
A0055.25, Array, 91 Shepherds Hill, Romford.
Retrospective application for installation of 2 x internally illuminated Fascia signs, 6 x LED external wall lights, 4 x illuminated wall panel edges.
The application is in the Green Belt and does not accord with the provisions of the development plan.
P0038.26, 12 Broadway, Rainham.
The proposal comprises repair, refurbishment and minor alteration works to an existing office building. Initial works commenced as like-for-like repairs to address deteriorated damage. During these works, the extent of disrepair became apparent, requiring a planning application to allow for appropriate improvements where existing elements are no longer repairable. No change of use is proposed, and the building will remain in office use.
The works do not increase the buildings footprint, floorspace, or intensity of use.
The development is in a Conservation Area.
P1370.25, Royal Liberty School, Upper Brentwood Road, Romford.
Construction of a new 2 storey SEND Unit and landscaping to form new playground/dining space, enclosed with a 3m mesh fence, following demolition of existing swimming pool, changing rooms and plant house.
The application affects the setting of a listed Building.
P1530.25, Land NE of Church Road, Noak Hill, Romford.
Part-Retrospective – Change of use of the land for the stationing of 8 pitches for Gypsy/traveller occupation including the stationing of 8 static homes, 8 touring caravans and 8 day rooms. Associated hard and soft landscaping.
The application is in the Green Belt and does not accord with the provisions of the development plan.
P1567.25, Romford Gasworks, Crow Lane, Romford.
Demolition, clearance and redevelopment of the site to provide employment floorspace (Use Class E(g)(iii), B2, B8 and Sui Generis (Builders Merchant)) and associated landscaping, yard, parking, access and supporting infrastructure. Environmental Statement Submitted.
This is a major development because it involves development carried out on a site having an area of 1 hectare or more.
The application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
P1614.25, 222–226 South Street, Romford.
Part demolition of existing building and extension to create replacement mosque and cultural centre, together with associated on-site car parking and landscaping and off-site pedestrian infrastructure works within the public highway.
This is a major development because it involves the provision of a building or buildings where the floor space to be created by the development is 1000 square metres or more.
