APPLICATION FOR MLA/2025/00481 ? Gosport Oil Fuel Jetty Independent Lighter Pontoon (ILP)

Notice is hereby given that Mr. Philip Wise, Defence Infrastructure Organisation Portsmouth, Naval Base Headquarters, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth has applied to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake the removal of the lateral vessel loads from the existing North Jetty by installing an independent lighter pontoon (ILP) and associated fuelling infrastructure.

Representations in respect of the application should ordinarily be made by:

e-register) and accessing the Public Representation section of case reference MLA/2025/00481.
However, we will also accept representations via the following formats:

or alternatively
- By letter addressed to Marine Management Organisation, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR
In all cases, correspondence must:
- Be received within 28 days of the date of the first notice (INSERT DATE OF PUBLICATION);
- Quote the case reference; and
- Include an address to which correspondence relating to the representation or objection may be sent.
The Marine Management Organisation will pass to the applicant a copy of any objection or representation we receive.
