NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15
Notice of proposed development/works at (a) 48 Albert Road, Colne. 25/0846/FUL Full: Siting of an InPost Parcel Locker. The proposal is within the Albert Road Conservation Area. (b) Unit 8, Station Yard, Colne Road, Earby. 25/0830/FUL Full: Change of use from Use Class B8 (Storage and Distribution) to Use Class E(d) (Indoor sport, recreation or fitness). The proposal is within the Earby Conservation Area. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (c) 16–18 Manchester Road, Nelson. 26/0027/FUL Full: Installation of an extraction flue to the rear and rendering to front elevation. The proposal is within the Whitefield Conservation Area.

(d) The Aisled Barn, Wycoller Road, Trawden. 26/0005/LBC Listed Building Consent: Remedial works to repair original timber, replace roof and ridge tiles and remove existing scaffolding. The proposal affects a Listed Building. The proposal is within the Trawden Forest Conservation Area and Wycoller Conservation Area. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 13 February 2026. The case officers dealing with these applications are: (a,d) Athira Pushpagaran who can be contacted on (01282) 661091, (b,c) Laura Barnes (661719). Any representations about these applications should be made either in writing to the Planning Services Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG, so as to arrive not later than 13 February 2026; or, a copy of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website (

www.pendle.gov.uk

under Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. Decisions are normally made within six to eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments.
