TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013 & THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION) (SCOTLAND) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2021
Notice under regulation 7(2)(b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant: Scotia Global Commodities Ltd give notice of their intention to submit a planning application for: “Proposed Residential Development including associated landscaping, drainage and infrastructure” at Land to south of A743 at Smyllum Park, Lanark, South Lanarkshire.
A public exhibition will take place on Wednesday 28th January 2026 from 3pm to 7pm at the Clydesdale Inn, 15 Broomgate, Lanark, ML11 9ET.

Persons wishing to make comments on the proposal should do so at the event or by writing / emailing to EMA Architects by Wednesday 11th February 2026.
Please note, comments on the proposal during this pre-application consultation are to the prospective applicant and not a formal representation to South Lanarkshire Council. When a planning application is subsequently made, there will be an opportunity to make formal representations directly to South Lanarkshire Council during the statutory notification period.
