NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15 OF TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015 AND UNDER THE PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990
KCC/CA/0001/2026 – Proposed development at St John’s CEP School, 7 St John’s Place, Canterbury, Kent CT1 1BD.
Kent County Council is applying to Kent County Council Planning Applications Group for planning permission for the Careful dismantling, shortening and reconstruction of an existing historic flint boundary wall within a Conservation Area, using reclaimed flint and brickwork laid in lime mortar, together with the installation of bespoke transparent polycarbonate protective enclosures, a small brick pier and a commemorative plaque.
The proposed development is within the Canterbury City Conservation Area and may affect its character and/or appearance and could also affect the setting of nearby listed buildings.
