NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Mill Lane, Haslington
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Mill Lane, Haslington – From the junction of Butterton Lane to outside Mill Lane Cottage.

The alternative route will be via Butterton Lane, Barthomley Road, Mill Lane and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 26th January 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Wednesday 2nd June 2027.

Prohibition of traffic – David Whitby Way, Crewe – For the full extent

The alternative route will be via David Whitby Way

Roundabout, David Whitby Way, Crewe Green Link Roundabout, Shavington Bypass, Meremoor Roundabout, Weston Road, Weston Road Roundabout, Savoy Road Weston Road Roundabout and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 12th January 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 27th February 2026.
