PRE-APPLICATION PUBLIC EVENT

Proposal:
Residential development and associated works
Applicant: Bellway Homes Ltd
Location: Land at Carlisle Road, Kirkmuirhill and Blackwood
Bellway Homes Ltd propose to hold two public exhibitions for their development proposals at land off Carlisle Road in Kirkmuirhill and Blackwood. The first of these exhibitions will take place between the hours of 2.00pm – 7.00pm on Thursday 15 th January 2026 at the Blackwood Victoria Bowling Club, 25 Vere Rd, Kirkmuirhill, Lanark ML11 9RS. The second event will be held on the 5th February, with details advertised locally in advance.
The events will allow attendees to view the initial development proposals and to provide feedback to members of the project team for consideration before submission of the planning application to South Lanarkshire Council. Copies of the presentation material and feedback details will also be available at

www.bellwaycarlisleroad.com.

Those interested in making comments on the proposed development may do so at the public exhibition and/or in writing to the same address. Any comments should be received by 27th February 2026.
This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to South Lanarkshire Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to South Lanarkshire Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations at that time.
