What is planned?

The Council has under consideration the following applications:
Ref: DMPA/2025/1174 (Affects a conservation area; Affects the setting of a listed building) Erection of a rear single storey extension and the replacement of external joinery at 33 Potter Street, Melbourne, Derby, DE73 8DW
DMPA/2025/1510 (Affects a conservation area Affects a listed building; Affects the setting of a listed building) The variation of condition no. 8 of permission ref. DMPA/2021/1820 (relating to the use of timber) for Listed Building Consent for penetrating internal walls as shown on drawings, various internal and external works as described on submitted documents including the installation of rooflights on rear elevation, inclusion of an electric vehicle charging point on the boundary wall, external lighting and the installation of railings at the front of the property at The Close, Church Square, Melbourne, Derby, DE73 8JH
Ref: DMPA/2025/1538 & DMPA/2025/1558 (Affects a conservation area; Affects a listed building) Proposed repairs to the roof beam and retrospective removal of brick stack & Listed building consent for the proposed repairs to the roof beam and retrospective removal of brick stack at 31 High Street, Repton, Derby, DE65 6GD
Applications may be viewed at planning.southderbyshire.gov.uk or during working hours at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, DE11 0AH. Any comments must be made in writing, quoting the application reference number, within 21 days of the date of the publication of this notice (not including public holidays)
This notice is given in accordance with provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and/or associated subordinate legislation.
