What is planned?
Northumberland County Council
has received and is required to publicise the following planning applications for the reasons stated below:
Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015. Reason: MAJOR major application - Article 15(4), APROW affecting a public right of way - Article 15(2), EIA accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment - Article 15(1A), Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990. Reason: LBC Listed Building Consent - Regulation 3.
25/01985/CCDEIA, Northumberland County Council, Construction of Blyth Relief Road comprising approx. 1.3km of new dual carriageway, upgrade of approx. 3.2km of single carriageway to dual carriageway between A192 Three Horseshoes Roundabout and A193 Links Road Roundabout and provision of approx. 1km of single carriageway connection between Chase farm Drive and Ogle Drive. Including new railway overbridge, new roundabout, roundabout and highway connections / realignments, repositioning of sports pitch and associated highways, junction, access, crossing, landscaping, boundary treatments, noise barriers, earthworks, infrastructure, lighting, drainage, demolition, engineering, construction and other ancillary works, provision of offsite Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), Land And Buildings On The East Side Of Newcastle Road Blyth, MAJOR, APROW, EIA
