TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No.24) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of a length of Pearl Street, a length and part width of Emerald Street, a length of Ruby Street, a length of Amber Street, and six areas of unnamed footpaths at Gresham, in Middlesbrough.

This is to enable development as permitted by Middlesbrough Development Corporation Council under reference 25/0004/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/ NE/S247/6047). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Middlesbrough Town Hall, Middlesbrough, TS1 2PA.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 11 December 2025.
