Planning (Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas) Act 1990
Part II (Conservation Areas) – Sections 69 (Designation) & 71 (General Duties) Notice Of Public Consultation

Under the powers of the said Act, the following changes are being proposed to the St Andrew’s Dock Conservation Area:
• Adoption of a new Character Appraisal.
Full details of the proposed changes and how to provide feedback can be made by:

1. Visiting the Council Website & completing an Online Survey – https://yoursay.hull.gov.uk/st-andrews-dock-conservation-area

2. Attending a Drop-In Consultation Session:
a. The Hull Fishing Heritage Centre, 355 Hessle Road, Hull, HU3 4BE
b. Tuesday 6th January 2026 – 11.00am - 2.00pm.

3. Attending a Public Meeting:
a. The Guildhall, Alfred Gelder Street, Hull, HU1 2AA
b. Thursday 15th January 2026 – 2.00 - 4.00pm.

4. In writing by:
a. Letter – Stephen Walker, Principal Conservation Officer, Hull City Council, Guildhall, Lowgate, HU1 2AA
b. E-mail – Dev.Control@hullcc.gov.uk

A copy of the Character Appraisal is available to read at the Guildhall. Feedback can be submitted between Monday 8th December 2025 and Saturday 31st January 2026.
