NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE AT MAD BESS COTTAGE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hillingdon is proposing to apply to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for consent to dispose of the following property in accordance with the provisions of the Green Belt (London and Home Counties) Act 1938:
Land known as Mad Bess Cottage, Breakspear Road North, Harefield, Uxbridge, UB9 6LZ.
The area which is proposed to be sold comprises approximately 0.3 acres of land.
A plan showing the area in question is available for inspection at the reception at the Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge during the hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Any objections, giving reasons, regarding the proposed disposal should be made in writing to the Disposal Surveyor, Property & Estates, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge, UB8 1UW or by email to estatesandvaluation@hillingdon.gov.uk by no later than 5.00 pm on 08/01/2026.
