NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257
The Lichfield District Council
(Public Footpath No.11 (Part) in the Parish of Curborough & Elmhurst)
Public Path Diversion Order 2025
The above Order was confirmed on 5 December 2025. The effect of the Order will be to divert that part of footpath No.11 (Part) in the Parish of Curborough & Elmhurst commencing at Grid Reference SK 1258 1191 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 51 metres to Grid Reference SK 1269 11812 (Point C on the Plan on to a line commencing at Grid Reference SK 1258 1191 (Point A on the Plan), then proceeding in a southerly, then easterly direction for approximately 40 metres to Grid Reference SK 1260 1181 (Point B on the Plan), then continuing easterly for a short distance before turning and running south easterly for a distance of approximately 119 metres to its junction with Public footpath, Curborough & Elmhurst No 12 at Grid Reference SK 1269 1183 (Point D on the Plan) as shown on the order plan.
A copy of the Confirmed Order and the Order Map may be viewed on the Council’s website or at the offices of Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.
The Order will come into force once Lichfield District Council certify that the new footpath has been provided to a satisfactory standard. Any person aggrieved by the Order, wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or any regulation made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act within six weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.

The effect of the Order will be to divert that part of footpath No.12 (Part) in the Parish of Curborough & Elmhurst commencing at Grid Reference SK 1269 1183 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a northerly direction for approximately 103 metres to Grid Reference SK 1270 1193 (Point B on the Plan) then running north easterly and then again northerly for approximately 335 metres to Grid Reference SK 1277 1225 (Point C on the Plan), then continuing north for a further 106 metres to Grid Reference SK 1278 1235 (Point D on the Plan ) on to a line commencing at Grid Reference SK 1269 1183 (Point A on the Plan), and proceeding in a north north-easterly direction for approximately 96 metres to Grid Reference SK 1275 1191 (Point E on the Plan), then running
south easterly for approximately 22 metres to Grid Reference SK 1277 1190 (Point F on the Plan), then again running in a generally north north-easterly direction for approximately 290
metres to Grid Reference SK 1291 1215 (Point G on the Plan) before turning and running north north-westerly for approximately 213 metres to Grid Reference SK 1284 1235 (Point L on the Plan), then running in a westerly direction for approximately 68 metres to rejoin Public footpath Curborough & Elmhurst No 12 at Grid Reference SK 1278 1235 (Point D on the Plan) as shown on the order plan.

The effect of the Order will be to divert that part of footpath No.4 (Part) in the Parish of Streethay commencing at Grid Reference SK 1282 1186 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a generally east south-easterly direction for approximately 54 metres to Grid Reference SK 1287 1184 (Point B on the Plan) on to a line commencing at Grid Reference SK 1282 1186 (Point A on the Plan), then proceeding in a south-easterly then easterly direction for a distance of approximately 60 metres to Grid Reference SK 1287 1184 (Point B on the Plan) as shown on the order plan.
