The North Ayrshire Council (Former Seafield School, Ardrossan) Tree Preservation Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that on 29 October 2025
The North Ayrshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 160 & 161 of The Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 confirm the above mentioned Order prohibiting the cutting down, topping, lopping, uprooting, wilful damage or wilful destruction of the trees specified in the Schedule hereto.
The Order was confirmed subject to modification.
Copies of the Order confirmed and of the plan referred therein may be viewed on the Council’s Tree Preservation Orders web page: https://www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/environment-sustainability/protecting-trees or may be inspected by any person, free of charge, at Ardrossan Library between the hours of 10am to 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; and 10am to 12.00pm on Saturdays, and at Cunningham House, Irvine KA12 8EE during working hours.
The Order became operational on 11th June 2025.

0.143 hectares of mainly mixed deciduous mature trees lying within the grounds of the former Seafield School in Ardrossan, in the Parish of Ardrossan and County of Ayr and the adjacent Manse in the Parish of Stevenson and County of Ayr.
