PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015
NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15
Notice of proposed development/works at (a) Great Stonedge House, Great Stonedge
Farm, Gisburn Road, Blacko. 25/0333/FUL Full: Demolition of existing garage
block and the erection of a replacement domestic garage block. The proposal affects
the setting of a Listed Building. (b) The Old Library, Booth Street, Nelson.
25/0770/FUL Full: Installation of 2 no. air conditioning units on the side gable
elevation. The proposal is within the Whitefield Conservation Area. The
proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (c) Thornton Hall Farm, Skipton
Road, Barnoldswick. 25/0748/FUL Full: Formation of an agricultural track. A Public
Right of Way is adjacent to the proposal. (d) Forest of Pendle Leisure Park,
Pasture Lane, Roughlee. 25/0784/FUL Full: Alterations to land levels with
associated landscaping and the installation of lighting bollards. A Public Right of
Way is adjacent to the proposal.
PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS)
ACT 1990
(e) The Old Library, Booth Street, Nelson. 25/0780/LBC Listed Building Consent:
Installation of 2 no. air conditioning units on the side gable elevation. The proposal
affects a Listed Building. The proposal is within the Whitefield Conservation Area.
The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under
the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal
office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 26 December 2025. The
case officers dealing with these applications are: (a,d) Alex Cameron who can be
contacted on (01282) 661713, (b,e) Laura Barnes (661719), (c) Athira Pushpagaran
(661091). Any representations about these applications should be made either in
writing to the Planning Services Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9
7LG, so as to arrive not later than 26 December 2025; or, a copy of the application
can be inspected on the Council’s website (www.pendle.gov.uk under
Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All
comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on
the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to
prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the
comments published on the internet. Decisions are normally made within six to eight
weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will
not automatically be sent to those that have made comments. If you wish to find out

website or telephone/email the contact officer.
