The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled
“The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No.38) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of two irregular shaped areas of highway at New Ferry, in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. This is to enable development as permitted by Wirral Council under reference APP/23/01878.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/5906). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Wirral Council, 2 Alice Ker Square, Grange Precinct, Birkenhead, CH41 2AB.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 03 December 2025.
