NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION FOR THE WINNING AND WORKING OF MINERALS BY UNDERGROUND OPERATIONS
(to be posted in the case of an application for planning permission for development consisting of the winning and working of minerals by underground operations (in addition to the service or publication of any other requisite notices in this Schedule))
Proposed development at Darrington Quarry, located northeast of the village of Darrington, near Knottingley.
I give notice that Darrington Quarries Limited is applying to Wakefield Council for planning permission for a proposed lateral extension to Darrington Quarry, Knottingley.
Members of the public may inspect copies of:
the application
the plans
and other documents submitted with it at Wakefield One, Burton Street, Wakefield, WF1 2DD during all reasonable hours until 25th December 2025
Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should write to the Council at Wakefield One, Burton Street, Wakefield, WF1 2DD by 25th December 2025
