FURTHER PUBLIC CONSULTATION

PROPOSAL:

REGENERATION OF FORMER COLLEGE CAMPUS TO PROVIDE MIXED USE SCHEME COMPRISING REFURBISHMENT OF COLLEGE BUILDINGS TO PROVIDE NEW HOTEL, OFFICES AND RETAIL UNIT. DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS AND PROVISION OF CAR PARKING AND CIRCULATION AREAS FOR VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS. STANDALONE RETAIL UNIT WITH CAR PARKING AND ASSOCIATED SITE AND ACCESS WORKS

LOCATION OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT:

LANDS AND BUILDINGS OF THE FORMER SOUTH WEST REGIONAL COLLEGE CAMPUS LOCATED EAST OF NOS 9-27 FAIRVIEW AVENUE, NORTH OF DERRYCHARA LINK, SOUTH OF GAOL SQUARE AND DUBLIN ROAD AND WEST, NORTH AND SOUTH OF NOS 2A TO 12 FAIRVIEW LANE AND WEST OF DERRYCHARA ROAD, ENNISKILLEN.

Due to recent legislation changes we are conducting a further public consultation into the above proposed development. This is not a new consultation into the above proposal but is an additional opportunity for members of the public to review the proposed application information via a website. The community consultation held on 11th September 2024 has not been cancelled and any comments already provided remain relevant.

A dedicated and bespoke website (onedublinroad.consultationonline.co.uk) will be made available for interested parties to view the consultation document and site proposals. This will be an online version of the 'traditional' display boards and will include an easy to use online comment card and direct email contact to the design team to provide feedback on the proposals. The website will be available for comments from the 1st December 2025 until the 5* January 2026.

If you wish to make comments on the proposal you may do so in writing to Cavendish at the above address/e-mail address and no later than 5 pm on 5th January 2026.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representation regarding the proposal at that time.
