Herefordshire Council received an application accompanied by an Environmental Statement on the 30 September 2025 for the following:-
Proposal:
Hybrid planning application comprising:
Full planning permission for phase one of a local centre comprising a food store of 1,912sqm (Class E), accessed from an extension of the unnamed road adjacent to Morrisons supermarket, including: car and cycle parking; loading area; landscaping; refuse and recycling storage; trolley storage; plant compound; and other associated works.
Outline planning permission for residential-led development, including: access from an extension of the unnamed road adjacent to Morrisons supermarket; link road provision; housing (circa 650 dwellings) (Class C2/C3); phase two of a local centre, with (up to 2,165sqm) comprising commercial (including retail), business and/or service uses (all falling within Class E) and/or community uses (Class E and/or F.2), as well as potential residential uses (Class C2/C3); primary school and pre-school; formal and informal open space; landscaping; pedestrian and cycle routes; and all other associated works including highways, drainage and infrastructure works (including Waste Water Treatment Works) as well as temporary access and construction route(s).
