Notice under Article 15 of Application for Planning Permission Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990

This application is Major Development & would affect the setting of Grade 2 & 2* Listed Buildings & the Scheduled Ancient Monument known as Blue Man’s Bower Moated Site and affects a Public Right of Way

RB2025/1468 - Erection of a new 400kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation including gantries, internal access roads, a GIS building, parking, drainage, emergency diesel generator, lighting and CCTV, permanent access  road from Long Lane, earthworks, landscaping and biodiversity enhancement, and fencing and the permanent realignment of Whiston Footpath 10 at land at Long Lane Whiston for National Grid Electricity Transmission Plc

This application would affect the setting of a Grade 2 Listed Building known as South Anston Manor House would affect the character or appearance of South Anston Conservation Area

RB2025/1501 - Erection of a single storey side extension at 14 Hillcrest Drive for Mr T Sorby

This is a Grade 1 Listed Building known as Wentworth Woodhouse & would affect the character or appearance of Wentworth Conservation Area

RB2025/1517 - Application to vary condition 1 (to allow continued use of site for public use, including tours, workshops, educational uses, as well as cafes and restaurants and other ancillary uses & infrastructure until  31st December 2028) imposed by RB2021/2278 at Wentworth Woodhouse Wentworth Park Cortworth Lane Wentworth for Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust

The above application(s) have been received by the Council.

Members of the public may see the application(s) on-line at www.rotherham.gov.uk or at the Council’s Customer Service Centre at Riverside House address below, on Monday–Friday during all reasonable hours.

The Council will allow 21 days from the date of this notice for written comments on the application. Your comments will be considered before a decision is made and your letter may be seen by members of the public (including the applicant).
