The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a Listed Building and a Conservation Area.

Two storey rear extension and single-storey side extension following demolition of existing conservatory; conversion of outbuilding into staff room
The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Railway Road.
A/25/099744/FULL 77 Railway Road Leigh WN7 4AD To retain Class E use, new shop front, new roller shutters to front and extractor flue to rear.
A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.
A/25/099800/MAJOR Recreation Ground Queensway Leigh
Change of use of land to create additional football pitch, repositioning of 3 existing containers, siting of 2 additional containers to be used for catering facility and toilet block, reconfiguration and extension of existing car parking area , 2.4 to 3 metre high mesh boundary fencing, 1.8 metre mesh fencing to car park, 1.2 metre high spectator rail, 1.2 metre and 2.4 metre high pedestrian gates, 3 metre high entrance gates and associated landscaping and infrastructure.
