Notice of Determination of EIA Applications

Please take notice that the following applications comprising EIA development have been determined by the Council. Relevant documents relating to the applications may be inspected online at www.manchester.gov.uk/ planning/publicaccess.

143769/FO/2025 Location: Faraday Tower, The University of Manchester, Sackville Street, Manchester. Proposal: Demolition of Faraday Tower to ground floor slab level and works to remediate/make safe the retained structure (including the erection of a perimeter hoarding) to prepare site for future development.

Any person that wishes to inspect, or obtain, a paper copy of the Environmental Statement can do so by emailing planning@ manchester.gov.uk to make the necessary arrangements.

There may be a charge for supplying a paper copy of the Environmental Statement, please check when making your enquiry.

Any persons wishing to make representations about the proposals must do so online or in writing to Planning, P O Box 532, Town Hall, Manchester M60 2LA within 14 days of the date of this Notice (unless a different period is specified later within the Notice) quoting the application reference number.
