TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) REGULATIONS 1990 - NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 5 OR 13

The following planning applications have been received which are for Listed Building Consent and would affect the setting of a Listed Building

1. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for erection of extensions and alterations to dwelling, and erection of detached garage, outbuilding and decking at 2-4, Pike Law Lane, Scapegoat Hill, Huddersfield. Application Nos. 2025/92980 & 2025/92981.

The following planning applications have been received which are for Listed Building Consent, would affect the setting of a Listed Building and are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting - AMENDED PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION AND AMENDED PLANS RECEIVED

2. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for external works to Market Building and wider site including alteration and demolition of modern additions to the Market building, new glazed screens, new WC and welfare facilities, provision of services and lighting including associated works, remodelling to the stone annexe, alterations to catering facilities, and self-contained commercial units, works to floor surfaces of Market Building. Use of Market Building for a mix of uses (sui generis) including retail, hot food takeaway, drinking establishment, restaurant / café uses, market office, public welfare facilities, storage facilities as well as provision of areas that provide a mix of fixed and flexible indoor and outdoor market stalls. Creation of areas for open market, siting of associated structures, installation of new fixed market stalls, demolition of external bin store and creation of waste compound area, storage compounds, vehicular parking, remodelling and surfacing of areas of hardstanding, street furniture, car park layout, installation of parcel lockers, landscaping and associated works at Huddersfield Open Market, Brook Street, Huddersfield.

The following planning application has been received which affects the setting of a Listed Building

3. Conversion and extension of existing store/workshop to create one residential dwelling with associated parking, outdoor amenity space and landscaping (modified house type) at New Closes Farm, Wickens Lane, Holmfirth. Application No. 2025/93026.

The following planning application has been received which affects the setting of a Listed Building and is either within a Conservation Area or affects its setting

4. Application for permission in principle for erection of 9 dwellings at Land off, Manchester Road, Linthwaite, Huddersfield. Application No. 2025/92985.

The following planning applications have been received which are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting

5. Erection of shed to the rear at 71, George Avenue, Birkby, Huddersfield. Application No. 2025/93031.

6. Change of use to restaurant and takeaway, new shopfront, installation of extractor flue and weather louver grill at Farmfoods, 14, Market Street, Huddersfield. Application No. 2025/92700.

7. Erection of shed to the rear at 71, George Avenue, Birkby, Huddersfield (Footpath No. HUD/345/30). Application No. 2025/93031.

8. Application for permission in principle for erection of 9 dwellings (within a Conservation Area) at Land off, Manchester Road, Linthwaite, Huddersfield (Footpath No. COL/73/10). Application No. 2025/92985.

9. Conversion and extension of existing store/workshop to create one residential dwelling with associated parking, outdoor amenity space and landscaping (modified house type) at New Closes Farm, Wickens Lane, Holmfirth (Footpath Nos. HOL/54/20, HOL/54/30 & HOL/54/40). Application No. 2025/93026.

10. Change of use of a single dwelling into 2 dwellings at 13, Top O’ Th’ Bank, Thurstonland, Huddersfield (Footpath Nos. HOL/37/30 & HOL/37/20). Application No. 2025/92974.

The following planning application has been received which constitutes Major Development and affects a public right of way

11. Erection of 75 dwellings with associated parking, infrastructure, hard and soft landscaping and access from Manchester Road at Cellars Clough Mill, Manchester Road, Marsden, Huddersfield (Footpath Nos. COL/181/70, COL/181/50 & COL/181/100). Application No. 2025/92882.
