What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA25/27484/HH

Proposal: Householder permission for single storey rear extension and garage re-roofing for Jack Littler & Bronwyn Simpson

Location: 3 West Bank Road Skipton BD23 1QT

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA25/27069/FUL

Proposal: Hybrid planning application seeking:

(1) full planning permission for the erection of a food store (Use Class E) with associated access, parking and landscaping areas; and

(2) outline planning permission for the erection of employment units (Use Classes E(g), B2 and B8) with associated access, parking and landscaping areas (with all matters except access into the site reserved for future consideration) for LIDL GB LTD

Location: Land off Wyvern Way Skipton

Reasons: Is a Major Development proposal. Does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 18th December 2025.
