What is planned?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that applications have been made to the BOROUGH COUNCIL of NEWCASTLEUNDER- LYME for planning permission for the development set out below:-
Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 Development affecting a Conservation Area /Listed Building
1. Demolition of existing wall and erection of replacement wall to match existing at Brampton Trees Queen Street Newcastle Under Lyme Staffordshire ST5 1ED by Mr Brian Paul Vaughan. File ref: 25/00757/FUL (Application site is within the Newcastle Town Centre Conservation Area).
2. Proposed works to entrance on the right hand side of the High Street elevation: extend height of existing metal railings either side of steps; install outward opening metal gates on building line and install outward opening metal gates to bottom of steps at 75 High Street Newcastle Under Lyme Staffordshire by Natwest. File ref: 25/00813/FUL and 25/00814/LBC (Application site is a Grade II Listed Building in Newcastle Town Centre Conservation Area)
3. Free Standing LED Screen at Blakeys Office, Paradise Street, Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 1PT by Mr J Beaumont. File ref. 25/00856/ADV (Application is within Newcastle Town Centre Conservation Area)
4. New advertising on front entrance elevation includes 2 no. digidot screens 6.5 x 3.4m, illuminated sign reading 'lymelight' applied to new entrance portal feature, vinyl graphic to canopy front, vinyl graphics to existing window openings, additional 'the clubhouse' sign. New advertising to Car park entrance includes vinyl graphic with 'lymelight carpark' lettering and arrow. New Vinyl Graphics to window openings and canopy fronts at Cinema And Premises Lymelight Boulevard High Street by Mr Neil Goulding File ref. 25/00784/ADV (Application is within Newcastle Town Centre Conservation Area)
During the period of 21 days beginning with the date of the publication of this Notice the Planning Authority provides the facility to inspect the application plans and documents on line at www.newcastle-staffs.gov.uk by following the link to Planning and Public Access Any person who wishes to make representations to the above mentioned Council should make them in writing within that period to the Development Management, Directorate of Growth & Development, Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, Castle House, Barracks Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 1BL or e-mail to planningapplications@newcastle-staffs.gov.uk
Please bear in mind that any comments and the name and address of the persons making the comments will be open to inspection by, and may be copied to, other parties as they form part of the statutory register for applications and will be displayed on the Councils website. Personal data, such as signatures, email address and telephone numbers will be removed. However, the names and addresses of those people who comment on the application are required and will be published. Please note that anonymous comments cannot be taken into consideration.
You may wish to avoid unnecessary publication of your personal details by sending your representations as attachments when corresponding by email, but you will need to include your name and address. The Council does not require signatures on letters.
