NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 38 OF PROPOSED REVISIONS TO THE RATCLIFFE ON SOAR LOCAL DEVELOPMENT ORDER

Former Ratcliffe on Soar Power Station, Ratcliffe on Soar, Nottingham, NG11 0EE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT RUSHCLIFFE BOROUGH COUNCIL is consulting on proposed revisions to the Ratcliffe on Soar Local Development Order (reference 25/02015/LDO). In summary, the proposed revisions are to allow:
a) data centre uses to be located on the southern part of the site (land south of the A453);
b) environmental mitigation works to come forward early with Council agreement; and
c) Local Labour Agreements to be agreed on a plot-by-plot basis.

A copy of the proposed revisions to the Ratcliffe on Soar Local Development Order, the proposed reasons for making those revisions and other supporting information are available for inspection at the Rushcliffe Customer Contact Point, West Bridgford Library, Bridgford Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 6AT (opening hours: Mondays and Thursdays 9:00am - 5pm, and Fridays 9:00am - 4:30pm). The documents can also be viewed at the Council's website at https://planningon-line.rushcliffe. gov.uk/online-applications/ (search using reference number 25/02015/LDO).

Any person who wishes to make representations on the proposed revisions to the Local Development Order should make them in writing by Tuesday 6 January 2026, either via Rushcliffe Borough Council's website (using the above website address) or by post to the Planning Manager, Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, Nottingham, NG2 7YG.
