PLANNING ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2011, THE PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT) REGULATIONS (NORTHERN) 2015 AND THE PLANNING (MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS) REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2025

PROPOSAL:

PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO UNIT 1 (APPROVED UNDER APPLICATION LA10/2025/0304/F) TO PERMIT THE SALE OF FOOD (16,200 SQ FT) AND NON FOOD GOODS (1620 SQ FT) WITH ASSOCIATED EXTERNAL ALTERATIONS TO PROVIDE TROLLEY BAYS AND A TEMPORARY REFRIGERATION UNIT.

LOCATION OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT:

LAKELANDS RETAIL PARK (APPROVED UNDER APPLICATION LA10/2025/0304/F), CORNAGRADE ROAD/IRVINESTOWN ROAD, ENNISKILLEN.

A public consultation is being undertaken into the above proposed development.

An in–person drop–in event will be held at Killyhevlin Hotel, Dublin Road, Enniskillen on Thursday 4th December 2025 between 2 pm and 6 pm to allow interested parties to view the proposals and provide feedback. Members of the consultation team will attend the event to answer any questions that members of the public have and to collect feedback on the proposal.

A dedicated and bespoke website (www.EnniskillenMandS.com) will be made available for interested parties to view the consultation document and site proposals. This will be an online version of the ‘traditional’ display boards and will include an easy to use online comment card and direct email contact to the design team to provide feedback on the proposals. The website will be available for comments from the 4th December 2025 until the 9th January 2026.

If you wish to make comments on the proposal you may do so in writing to the above address/e-mail address and no later than 5 pm on 9th January 2026.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representation regarding the proposal at that time.
