Oxenhill Meadow - Notice of Intention to Dispose of Open Space Land
What is planned?
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972, section 123(2A) INTENTION TO DISPOSE OF OPEN SPACE LAND (RIGHTS OF ACCESS TO LAY AND MAINTAIN A PIPELINE ON COUNCIL LAND)
Notice is hereby given that the Sevenoaks District Council as the owner of the following plots of land, which are or may be open space, intends to provide an easement to SGN for the laying of a replacement gas pipeline on the following plot of land:
• LAND AT OXENHILL MEADOW, TUDOR DRIVE, KEMSING, SEVENOAKS
A copy of the plans showing the land intended to be granted an easement may be inspected at Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1HG between the hours of 8.45am and 5pm on Monday to Thursday and 8.45am and 4.45am on Friday.
Please note, this is a statutory notice that the Council must provide when granting an easement over open space land.
The Council shall retain freehold ownership of the land. The land will also continue in its current usage as open space for all.
The notice in respect of a new Easement for a section of gas pipeline to be installed only.
Any person who wishes to make representations should do so in writing no later than 11 December 2025 to the Estates Surveyor, Sevenoaks District Council. For further information please email property@sevenoaks.gov.uk.
