TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No.35) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of a network of highways as lies off Thirsk Avenue and Chepstow Avenue at Sale in the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford. This is to enable development as permitted by Trafford Council under references 116771/VAR/25 & 113251/FUL/24.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/ S247/5760). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Sale Library, 2 Tatton Road, Sale, M33 7EB.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 25 November 2025.
