TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257

MALVERN HILLS DISTRICT COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 562 (PART) KEMPSEY ) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025

The above order was made on 20th November 2025. The effect of the order will be to divert that length and the whole width of public footpath no. 562, Kempsey, running from point A, Ordnance Survey "OS" grid reference SO 85631 49434, in a north-easterly turning northerly direction for 253 metres to point B, OS grid reference SO 85684 49663, the junction of the footpath with Brookend Lane to a line running from point E, OS grid reference SO 85680 49662, a point on Brookend Lane, in a south-easterly turning east-north-easterly easterly for 31 metres to point D, grid reference SO 85709 49665, then continuing in an east-north- easterly direction across the road and footways for 6 metres to point C, grid reference SO 85715 49667, then continuing in an east-north-easterly turning south -easterly direction for 11 metres to point K, grid reference SO 85725 49664, then continuing in a southerly turning south -south-westerly direction for 40 metres to point J, grid reference SO 85719 49624, then continuing in a generally southerly direction for 105 metres to point H, grid reference SO 85709 49519, then continuing in a south-south-westerly direction for 42 metres to point G, grid reference SO 85691 49482, then continuing in a southerly turning south-westerly direction for 45 metres to point F, grid reference SO 85673 49445, then continuing in a west-south-westerly direction for 44 metres to point A, grid reference SO 85631 49434, a point on footpath 562, Kempsey, as shown on the order map.

A copy of the order and order map may be seen free of charge at The Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern, WR14 3AF between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the order and map may be obtained there. Copies are also available on the Council’s website at https://www.malvernhills.gov.uk/planning/other-planning-services/footpath-diversions

Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent in writing to: Meesha Patel, Director of Legal and Governance, Malvern Hills District Council, at the address below or by e mail to Meesha.Patel@malvernhills.gov.uk not later than 5th January 2026. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Malvern Hills District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
