The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 11 December 2025 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
I GIVE NOTICE THAT Moto Hospitality Ltd is applying to Wiltshire Council for planning permission (PL/2023/09142) for Outline Planning Permission (with Access to be determined) for development of a new Motorway Rest Area (MRA) to provide up to 241 car parking spaces; up to 63 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) parking spaces; coach and caravan parking; amenity building; fuel filling station; new roundabout access from B4005; and associated landscaping, infrastructure and ancillary works at Land at Junction 16 (M4), Swindon and that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans, the environmental statement and other documents submitted with the application at www.wiltshire.gov.uk
