What is planned?

HAZELEY HEATH COMMON

Southern Electric Power Distribution (SEPD) has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006/section 23(2) of the National Trust Act 1971/article 12 of the Greater London Parks and Open Spaces Order 1967* to carry out restricted works on Hazeley Heath Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.

The proposed works are to uprate the existing 11kV overhead line by the addition of a third wire to the line across five spans, of which approximately 380m sits within the Common.

The works will be located as per the enclosed plan, reference 25004374_PLN_INFO_1.1, between British National Grid references SU 76291 58231 and SU 76597 58070.

Any representations should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE that date to The Planning Inspectorate, Commons Team at 3A Temple Quay House, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN or commonlandcasework@planninginspectorate.gov.uk.
