HISTORIC CHURCHES COMMITTEE FOR THE DIOCESES OF SOUTHWARK, ARUNDEL & BRIGHTON, PORTSMOUTH, PLYMOUTH AND CLIFTON

PRESS NOTICE Application reference #1460 dated 06/10/2025 has been received by the above Committee for approval of the following works to an exempt ecclesiastical building.

1. The Holy Spirit and St Edward (Church) -Swanage. Grade II (Listing Number: 1304342)

2. Works Proposed: Installing tie rods at eaves level to counter roof spread pushing side walls outwards. Installation of Cintec sock anchors and external pattress plates into the nave walls. Installation of stainless steel tie rods with suspension rods into apex.

3. Applicant: Rev Timothy Lewis - Swanage - The Holy Spirit and St Edward, 1 Victoria Avenue, Swanage, Dorset, BH19 1AH
