What is planned?

THE STREET, UPPER HALLING, ROCHESTER (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -

The Street, Upper Halling, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 61 The Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via The Street, Vicarage Road, Kent Road, High Street, Holborough Road, Ladds Lane, Pilgrims Way and return.

This order will come into force on Monday, 1 December 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 1 December 2025 and are programmed for completion within three days. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

STANHOPE ROAD, ROCHESTER (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out

Stanhope Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 15 Stanhope Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Bryant Road and Glanville Road.

This order will come into force on Wednesday, 26 November 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 26 November 2025 and are programmed for completion within 3 days. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

LOWER TWYDALL LANE, GILLINGHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out

Lower Twydall Lane, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of ‘Pear Cottage’. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available. Access to properties will be maintained as far as possible. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This order will come into force on Monday, 8 December 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 8 December 2025 and are programmed for completion within five days. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
