Adleymoor Common - Erection of Wooden H-poles for Overhead Lines

What is planned?

ADLEYMOOR COMMON

National Grid Electricity Distribution has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Adleymoor Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The proposed works are the installation or erection of 3 wooden H-poles for the proposed overhead lines – approximately 425 metres in length across the common.
A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Leintwardine Community Library, High Street, Leintwardine, SY7 0LB during its opening hours of Tuesdays 10:00 –1:30 and Thursdays at 1:30 – 4:00 until 12/12/2025. A copy of the application form and accompanying
documents may be obtained by writing to
