The above Orders made on 2 Oct 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area adding to them the footpaths listed in Schedule 1 below and shown on the plans attached to the Order.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the office of South Tyneside Council, Town Hall and Civic Offices, Westoe Road, South Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE33 2RL from 10am to 3pm Mon to Fri. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at
a price of £10. Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Officer, South Tyneside Council, Town Hall and Civic Offices, Westoe Road, South Shields, NE
33 2RL not later than 2 Jan 2026, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the South Tyneside Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State any representations or objections which
have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
