What is planned?
LONDON BOROUGH OF LEWISHAM BLACKHEATH COMMON
The London Borough of Lewisham has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under Section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Blackheath Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State. The works are the installation of a single non turf cricket wicket adjacent to Talbot Place, Blackheath SE3. The non turf wicket is an English Cricket Board approved system with a green finish. It measures 30m x 2.74m and lies flush with the surrounding ground.
