PLANNING (HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES) REGULATIONS 2015 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES CONSENT

Notice is hereby given that BioConstruct NewEnergy Ltd of 1 Navigator Court, Preston Farm Ind Estate, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 3TQ is applying to Flintshire County Council for Hazardous Substances Consent under the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2015. The application relates to land at Deeside SPV, Weighbridge Road, Deeside Industrial Park, CH5 2LF. It is sited between the Flintshire Bridge 400kV Converter Station to the south, UPM Shotton Paper Mill to the west, the recently approved Enfinium Parc Adfer Energy Recovery Facility to the north and a railway line and Deeside Industrial Park to the east. The consent sought is to allow the presence and storage/use of the following hazardous substances:

  • Liquefied flammable gases (Propane)

  • maximum quantity: 19.8 tonnes

  • FLAMMABLE GASES, Category 1 or 2 (Methane)

  • maximum quantity: 12.9 tonnes

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should do so in writing to mineralsandwaste@flintshire.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this notice.
