5/2025/1756 Demolition of the existing vacant commercial building (use class E) and the redevelopment of the site to provide a residential development (use class C3) comprising 47 apartments as well as cycle parking, refuse storage and hard and soft landscaping at: 5 Spencer Street & Rear Boundaries of 25-37 Market Place, St Albans.

5/2025/1658 Listed building Consent – To fit replacement sash windows like for like in hardwood double glazing, to ground floor at front, one window at front and two windows to the rear of property. The current windows are old and broken and need to be replaced at: Flat 2, Gaulter House, 2b Lower Dagnall Street, St Albans.

5/2025/1856 Discharge of Conditions 5 (details of services, finishes and insulation) and 6 (details of roof terraces) of Listed Building consent 5/2023/2180 dated 08/05/2024 for Minor internal changes to the design of previously approved proposals to include demolition of two existing internal walls to aid in space to the layout for Flat 1 and Flat 2, retention of a part of existing opening to corridor access to Flats 3 and 4, and removal of two small windows on the external wall in Flat 3 on the first floor, existing dormer window to be retained, repaired, and made good in the store space for Flat 1 on the second floor, and introduction of AOV in roof for stairs facing Spencer Street at: The Mansion, 1 St Peters Street, St Albans.

5/2025/1881 Discharge of Condition 11 (existing floors) of listed building consent 5/2021/0174 dated 18/02/2025 for Conversion of barn to ancillary accommodation, with single storey extension, insertion of rooflights and new chimney at: Redbournbury House, Redbournbury Lane, Redbourn.

Comments may be made in writing to: The Development Management Team, quoting the reference number, not later than 29/11/2025 (23 days after the publication date). Please note your correspondence will be available for inspection by the public and a redacted version (without signature, email or telephone number) will be published on the website. Any comments that you make about this proposal will be copied to the Planning Inspectorate in the event of an appeal and will also be published on their website. In the event of an appeal on a householder application (or a minor commercial or advertisement application, which is to be dealt with by written representations), any comments you have made will be sent to the Planning Inspectorate but there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.

The Council gives warning pursuant to its powers under Section 225 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, that it will remove or obliterate any sign/advertisement illegally displayed within the administrative boundaries of St Albans City & District Council.
