NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15
Notice of proposed development/works at (a) Post Office, 9–11 Frank Street, Barnoldswick. 25/0703/FUL Full: Conversion of part ground floor of Post Office (Use Class E) into 1 no. flat (Use Class C3), first floor into 2 no. flats (Use Class C3) and the relocation of the entrance door. The proposal is within the Barnoldswick Conservation Area. (b) Bridge Holme Laithe, Greenberfield Lane, Barnoldswick. 25/0729/FUL Full: Conversion of attic over existing garage to create residential annex, alterations to existing rooflight, addition of 1 no. rooflight to rear elevation, replacement of an existing window on South Elevation to a door and the formation of an external staircase to the South Elevation. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (c) 66 Lomeshaye Road, Nelson. 25/0730/FUL Full: Change of use from a dwelling (Use Class C3) to a Family Assessment Centre (Use Class C2). The proposal is within the Whitefield Conservation Area.
HOUSEHOLDER APPLICATION
(d) 3 Millbrook Court, Colne. 25/0731/HHO Full: Erection of a single-storey rear and side extension, replacement of first-floor French doors with a projecting box window and a sliding door to rear elevation. The proposal is within the Trawden Forest Conservation Area. As this is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.

(e) Bridge Holme Laithe, Greenberfield Lane, Barnoldswick. 25/0707/LBC Listed Building Consent: Conversion of attic over existing garage to create residential annex, alterations to existing rooflight, addition of 1 no. rooflight to rear elevation, replacement of an existing window on South Elevation to a door and the formation of an external staircase to the South Elevation. The proposal affects a Listed Building. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 28 November 2025. under Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details.
