Providence Crescent, Oakworth - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

PROVIDENCE CRESCENT, OAKWORTH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Providence Crescent, Oakworth intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Providence Crescent from its junction with Providence Lane to its junction with Providence Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Providence Crescent (unaffected section), Providence Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 17th November 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 1st February 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
