NOTICE OF THE CONSULTATION PERIOD FOR THE REGULATION 18 (ISSUES AND
PREFERRED OPTIONS) FOR THE WALSALL BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Regulation 18 consultation period for the draft Walsall Borough Local Plan (Issues and Preferred Options) commences for six weeks from the Friday 7 November 2025 until 5pm on Friday 19 December 2025 in accordance with Regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
You are invited to comment on the Draft Walsall Borough Local Plan – Issues and Preferred Options – and supporting documents. The Walsall Borough Local Plan, when adopted, will set out the policies and proposals for future development in Walsall until 2042.

The quickest and easiest way to comment on the draft Local Plan is online using the Common Place webpage.
Alternatively, you can send comments on the draft Local Plan in the following ways:
 Attend one of the in-person exhibition events that are being held across the borough. Locations and dates will be published on the council’s website.
 Go to one of the Walsall Connected Centres or libraries during opening hours to pick up a physical copy of the leaflet and questionnaire, or use the computers to access the online consultation. Staff will be on hand to assist.
 Send an email to

WBLP@Walsall.gov.uk

requesting material to be made available in alternative formats – large print, translated version, and Braille.
All representations must be received no later than 5pm on the 19 December 2025.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Council’s Planning Policy Privacy Notice.
