Woolaston Footpath No Fwo104, Netherend Farm, Woolason (Part) - Stopping and creating of path
What is planned?
NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT COUNCIL WOOLASTON Footpath No FWO104 (Part) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025 (at Netherend farm)
On 30th October 2025 Forest of Dean District Council confirmed the above Order.
STOP UP the entire width of that length of Woolaston Footpath No.FWO104 running from OS Grid Ref SO 5941 0014 (Point A) in a north westerly direction for approximately 4m to SO 5941 0015 (Point C) then in a south westerly direction for approximately 5m to SO 5941 0014 (Point D) then north westerly for approximately 21m to SO 5939 0016 (Point E) and in a north-north- westerly direction for approximately 134m to SO 5935 0028 (Point B) terminating on the south east side of Bridge View as shown between Points A – C – D – E - B on the plan attached to the Order;
AND CREATE a new Footpath with a width of 2m running from OS Grid Ref SO 5941 0014 (Point A) in a south westerly direction for approximately 11m to SO 5941 0014 (Point F) then in a north westerly direction for approximately 24m to SO 5939 0015 (Point G) then north easterly for approximately 36m to SO 5941 0018 (Point H) continuing in a general north- westerly direction, following the route of the pavement, for approximately 134m to SO 5935 0028 (Point J) and terminating on the south east side of Bridge View as shown between Points A – F – G – H - J - B on the plan attached to the Order.

This order comes into force on the date on which the Gloucestershire County Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date on which the Notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of schedule 14 to that Act.
