What is planned?
Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.
North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.
Application No: ZA25/27390/FUL
Proposal: Full planning permission for the installation of automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) equipment for Chatsworth Settlement Trustees
Location: Bolton Abbey Village Car Park Bolton Abbey Skipton BD23 6EX
Reasons: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: ZA25/27395/FUL
Proposal: Full planning permission to construct two new garden centre buildings and associated landscaping to create outdoor sales areas, parking and pedestrian routes at existing horticultural nursery. One building will house a garden centre shop, cafe, toilets and storage; second building will house a dry display and sales area for Lay Of The Land Ltd
Location: Crows Nest Barn Crow Nest Road Austwick LA2 8AS
Reason: Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: ZA25/27382/DCA
Proposal: Full planning permission for the demolition of existing roof structure for Merritt And Fryers Ltd
Location: Firth Street Works Firth Street Skipton BD23 2PX
Reason: Is a proposal for demolition of an unlisted building in a Conservation Area.
The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications/ or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.
Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 20th November 2025. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the applicant details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
