CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

THORN DRIVE / BREWERY LANE, QUEENSBURY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Thorn Drive / Brewery Lane, Queensbury intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Thorn Drive / Brewery Lane, as follows:

Thorn Drive - from its junction with Brewery Lane to a point outside No. 3 Brewery Lane.

Brewery Lane - from its junction with Thorn Drive to a point to the side of No. 1 Thorn Drive.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available, as follows:

Thorn Drive via – Thorn Drive (unaffected section), Ambler Way, Brewery Lane and vice versa.

Brewery Lane via – Brewery Lane (unaffected section), Shibden Head Lane, Halifax Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:30 hours on the 12th November 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 13th November 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
